to prove the groundlessness of his stories, a writer accepts edgar allan poe's challenge to spend the night in a castle where it seems nobody has ever come out alive. the writer will spend a nightmare night, where the deceased inhabitants of the manor have returned in the form of bloodthirsty vampires, but they are not the only obstacle that he will have to face.
