in a colorful summer of the 1980s luca and his friends prepare to face the dreaded matriculation exams. but instead of studying they manage to collect an incredible series of funny misadventures. to begin with, it is luca who, overwhelmed by unusual courage, overthrows martinelli, the most bastard professor of letters in the history of humanity, a deadly collection of insults and accusations. 10 seconds later he discovers that martinelli will be the new internal member of the exams! and to make matters worse, a few hours later, luca falls in love with an exuberant contemporary girl known at a party, claudia. 10 seconds later he finds out that he is engaged to a guy with 20 kg more muscles than he is! but luca does not lose heart and begins a spasmodic search for his beloved. she only knows her name but ignores the most important thing: that she is the daughter of the hated professor martinelli! in the following days, while his friends, instead of helping him, do nothing but cause trouble, luca tries in vain to recover martinelli's esteem. the two start dating, first with the excuse of some repetitions, then also as ... friends ... well, in short, almost friends. the truth is that luca's insults shook the bastard deep ... the professor. their meetings are only small battles awaiting the final war on the day of the oral. the last days before the exam are also challenging for claudia, hit by two traumatic events: the non-admission of her best friend, chicca, who runs away from home and the sudden death of her beloved grandmother. everything culminates with the night before the exams. while his friends are engaged in a frantic search for italian exam topics, luca finally discovers that claudia is the daughter of his worst enemy. he runs to her but ... the surprises are not over. the night is long ... and the next morning none of our protagonists will be the same.
