betty, a dreamy waitress and neglected wife, is watching her favorite soap opera on tv while two killers kill her husband for a drug business. in shock, the girl goes mad, runs away from home and leaves in search of the non-existent dr. ravell, the protagonist of the soap opera. in pursuit of betty we bring both the two killers, both a sheriff who investigates the murder, and a curious journalist.
