panic room (2002)

a divorced woman moves with her daughter to her new big house in new york. when three thieves enter the apartment, the two women shut themselves up in the panic room, a secret and super-defended environment designed to protect themselves from possible intruders. at this point an unnerving cat-and-mouse game begins.
