Black Feathers (1952)

a young man, along with his brother, is forced to leave his girlfriend by the outbreak of world war ii. she, having lost her father in a bombing, is hosted by her parents. on september 8, the two brothers laboriously reach their country still invaded by the germans who want to blow up the dam. the intervention of the alpini avoids the danger but, among the many, also the girl is seriously injured. the young man marries her; she heals and gives her husband a child.
