riding in cars with boys (2001)

bev is a 15-year-old who lives in connecticut, daughter of the police chief and an incurable romantic who dreams of going to college. but it is the sixties and she is also a rebel. he gets into trouble with a slacker, alcoholic and heroin addict, and gets pregnant. to placate the scandal he must marry, give up school and invent the double profession of mother and wife.
