two women, a daughter and the other second wife of a farmer, fall in love with a man with financial problems. he chooses his daughter, but a certain one, already a lover of his stepmother, appears and begins to blackmail him. the latter kills him, but the stepdaughter's boyfriend ends up in trouble. for him it would be the end if the stepmother, almost on the verge of death from a car accident, did not discover that she was really the girl's mother. confess the crime and for the two young people life begins again.
