after sixteen years of marriage, louise tate is expecting a baby and asks samantha to accompany her to the doctor. larry, seeing his wife and girlfriend out of the doctor's office by chance, believes that it is samantha who is pregnant and rushes to give the good news to darrin. meanwhile, louise confesses to samantha that she is worried because her husband has never endured children and does not know how to tell him that he is about to become a father. to facilitate her task, samantha decides to invite her and larry to dinner.
