serving sara (2002)

bailiff joe tyler earns his living by sending summonses to unsuspected victims. sara moore is one of her targets. when gordon, the partner with whom sara shares a cattle farm in texas, accompanies her to the airport for a trip to new york, she thinks that everything is going well. but gordon really has nothing in mind but ruining his partner. in fact, when sara arrives in new york, joe has just received the order from his boss, ray, to deliver to sara the cards that will send all his business to the air and leave it practically penniless. puzzled, confused and suddenly aware that there is a life without luxury villas and cars, sara does not believe her eyes when she reads the document. but she soon realizes that if she manages to get joe on her side and get gordon to get those papers, she'll regain control of the common wealth, in addition to all that she deserves. however, he only has a few hours to turn the situation around and bring gordon's life into the air. at this point, sara gives joe an offer she can't refuse: being able to 'get stuck' gordon to earn a good million dollars! initially adversaries, now joe and sara must learn to work together and stop gordon before tony another bailiff arrives at sara. traveling the length and breadth of the whole country, escaping the henchmen who chase them and trying to avoid the traps set by gordon, this unlikely couple will learn to be compatible and will have to do it quickly.
