shakespeare in love (1998)

summer 1593: william shakspeare is in the throes of a paralyzing creative block. he needs an inspirational muse and when he finally finds her he falls hopelessly in love. in a crescendo of misunderstandings and forbidden desires, between brawls, duels and stolen kisses, will will have to find a worthy ending to his work 'romeo and juliet', but also to his overwhelming passion.
