la ragazza che cosa ha dimenticato ? (1936)

setsuko, a girl from osaka who often adopts rebellious attitudes that are not in keeping with traditional values, goes to tokyo to visit her uncles komiya and tokiko. during a weekend tokiko believes that her husband went to the countryside to play golf, instead komiya prefers to spend her time in some bars drinking and chatting with her assistant okada. setsuko discovers her uncle's make-up and convinces him to be taken to a geisha house. when the girl returns drunk, tokiko goes on a rampage and, after komiya's arrival, orders her husband to reprimand her firmly and he cannot escape his duty. setsuko in front of tokiko, makes the best of a bad situation, but when he is alone with komiya he scolds him for his complacent attitude towards his wife. komiya and setsuko still go out together and when they return they find tokiko waiting for them, sternly scolding them. annoyed, komiya slaps his wife; but immediately after komiya and setsuko apologize to tokiko. setsuko returns to osaka and the two uncles are preparing to spend a pleasant night of conjugal love.
