in kabul, two brothers live by their wits in the company of a stray dog. tired of this precarious existence, they decide to settle in the prison where their mother is. but the law prohibits housing in prison from citizens who are not criminals. the children then decide to commit some theft just to be able to stay close to their mother, but they can't get caught. a famous italian film will teach the young protagonists the best method to be arrested.
