summer of sam (1999)

new york, summer 1977. as the disco music explodes, a serial killer called 'son of sam' comes into action. in the bronx, vinny, a macho hairdresser, has a difficult relationship with his wife dionna, who cheats with her cousin, and a long friendship with ritchie, a punk rocker who dreams of the sex pistols' london. when the serial killer hunt breaks out in the neighborhood, it will be ritchie who will pay the price, defended only by ruby.
