Sweet 16 (2002)

the son of a society without a future, sixteen-year-old liam struggles to build a better future for his untrustworthy mother, who ended up in jail to cover up her drug-lover and her mother-sister. to realize his dream he is forced to pass off in the pay of a boss, who as a final pledge demands the killing of his brotherly friend. after much pain and humiliation, liam will discover that the mother does not intend to be redeemed.
