the hole (1998)

one week to 2000: a mysterious virus is the cause of an uncontrollable epidemic in taiwan. in an apocalyptic scenario, with an incessant rain that has been falling for days, a young man has chosen to stay in his home. a plumber, arriving in the apartment building to repair a water leak, leaves a large hole in the floor. it is from this that the young man begins to spy on the moves of the woman who lives on the lower floor. for man it becomes an obsession, but it is not about voyeurism but rather about the beginning of a true bond in the midst of so much destruction. however, she too begins to experience the symptoms of the terrible disease.
