carlo and silvia have been married for over twenty years. he has a young partner, with whom he lives, she lives in their roman home, in parioli, where carlo only occasionally passes. among them there is a strong understanding and a deep affection, but when silvia finds herself a lover, young and violent, the situation precipitates and for carlo it is the beginning of an obsession.
