dave douglas is a career man. lawyer and deputy, he never has free time to spend with his wife rebecca and his sons carly and joe, who instead would need his attention. when dave is accidentally infected with a 'top secret' serum in a laboratory where important genetic mutation experiments are being conducted, his body undergoes a mutation and he finds himself to be a beautiful mongrel dog. adopted by his own family, dave must find a way to return to normal, but before the brilliant inventor marcus finds the antidote, dave will learn to see the world and even his family from another perspective.
