The Wedding Director (2006)

a director, franco elica, goes into crisis because his daughter has married a fervent catholic and because he is forced against his will to shoot the umpteenth version of 'i promessi sposi'. an unexpected event is added to the crisis, so he decides to flee to a small town in deep sicily, where he meets a man who earns his living by shooting wedding videos and a director who claims to be dead to finally get the recognition he never had before 'in life'. he also knows prince ferdinand gravina of palagonia, a penniless nobleman who proposes to direct the film about his daughter's wedding, bona. franco immediately falls in love with the beautiful princess and decides to save her from a marriage of convenience.
