march 1991 iraqi desert archie gates, captain of us special forces, sergeant troy barlow, major chief elgin and private conrad vig are stuck at base camp. when it is time to dismantle it, they accidentally come into possession of a map indicating where the gold that saddam hussein stole from kuwait is buried. even the cynical archie learns of the map and takes the situation in hand. but shipment in enemy territory, carried out without authorization, will be different from the pre-established plans.
