Titus (1999)

the roman general titus andronicus defeats the goths and takes queen tamora, his three sons and the lover of one of them aaron prisoners. in rome, meanwhile, the emperor died and the throne is disputed between the two brothers saturnino and bassiano. tito convinces the tribunes to vote for saturnino who asks the wife of the general, lavinia, already promised to bassiano. when tito with the consent of tito kidnaps lavinia saturnino decides to marry tamora: following a plot hatched by arone, bassiano dies and lavinia is horribly mutilated. tito will get revenge.
