Another Time, Another Place (1974)

an inexplicable cosmic phenomenon has just doubled the moon and its inhabitants, but fortunately no one seems to have suffered it, except for the young regina kesslann. this begins to fantasize about an arid world, where the alphani would be living and where she would have married and lost in an accident alan carter, who hardly knows the girl. the mysteries thicken when we realize that the moon is approaching the orbit of a devastated planet that looks like the earth, an orbit that already houses another moon with another alpha base, apparently evacuated for years.
