viscerally fearful and convinced that everything and everyone is plotting against him, perpetually suspicious and afraid of getting into trouble, the clerk alberto menichetti in trouble really ends up when he is considered the author of an attack. to exonerate himself, he accepts the alibi that his boss gives him, an unattractive spinster who is in love with him. fortunately, the real culprit is arrested alberto, left the unwanted accomplice, to exorcise his fears he joins the police corps.
