Love Without Pity (1989)

the young hippo lives in paris, maintained by his brother, an empty and desperate existence: he does not study, he does not work and explicitly declares his absolute distrust in a world that has no pity on men. the love for nathalie, a concrete and positive girl, seems able to totally modify hippo. but at the time of leaving paris and his usual life to move with nathalie to boston, right on the way to the airport hippo is blocked by a setback that will be enough to make him give up both love and a new life.
