when father was away for business (1985)

yugoslavia in the early fifties: tito moves away from stalin. among the victims of the regime, the womanizer mesa, interned in a labor camp for spite. life goes on, followed by the dreamy gaze of the very young malik, son of man, whose mother told him that 'dad is on a business trip'. but everything passes, the pain disappears, the suffering subsides: mesa goes back into freedom and starts again to get busy with her friends. malik, innocent, continues to dream.
