avanti, c'è posto (1942)

a slightly distracted young maid is robbed on a five-hundred-pound bus. the money is not found and since the girl does not have the courage to return to her mistress, owner of the sum, the ticket collector takes her under his protection. having quit and without a home, in the company of the conductor, he goes in search of a place he finally finds after a long series of vicissitudes. he also knows the bus driver, a nice young man he falls in love with, but the detachment will take place because he is called to arms.
