peter sanderston is a lawyer who devotes all his time to work. despite having divorced, he is still romantically attached to his ex-wife, even though his two teenage sons remain mysterious to him. he has no time for courting and he uses internet chat. it is on the web that he knows charlene, who pretends to be splendid, thread-like, elegant and blonde. but when he meets her, he is faced with a completely different person, and from this comes a series of misunderstandings of all kinds.
