a young man who wants to pursue a career as a professional boxer goes to new york, where his elder brother has made a career as a builder, but when he gets there he finds a lot of impediments, among which the most serious is that his brother ends up in prison, falsely accused of murder. despite the trafficking of sinister financiers, the young boxer manages to get into the ring and win the match against a black boxer and, with the sum won, to pay the bail to get his brother out of jail. unfortunately he, just freed, is treacherously beaten by his enemies and, before dying, urges his young brother to return to italy.
