intermission (2003)

lehiff, a lone petty criminal, is studying his last shot, after which he decided to put his head right. jerry is a somewhat anarchist policeman, who is trying to make his way with the hope of establishing himself in his environment. john is an incurable romantic, who leaves his job at the supermarket and joins lehiff to recapture deirdre, the love of his life, who has since left with sam, a married bank manager. things turn for the worse when noelee, the ex-wife of sam, gets in the way, a violent type that will bring chaos in everyone's life, without exception.
