plenty (1985)

story of susan traherne, a former secret agent for the french resistance in the german-occupied territories of france, from the post-war period up to the sixties, between marital crises, desperate loves, a too volitional and independent character and lover of risky life. all included in the span of changes in english society over a period of twenty years.
