the emperor's new clothes (2001)

sant'elena 1821: napoleon's exile comes to an end after six years. a plot organized by his faithful supporters is in fact about to bring the emperor back to paris, replaced by a double that remained on the atlantic island. but things do not go according to plan: when he arrived in the french capital, alone and without collaborators, napoleon meets a young widow, pumpkin, with whom he establishes a relationship destined to change his life. an unexpected turn of events in sant'elena will also force him to abandon his imperial dreams forever.
